According to the latest data published by the Eurostat, in 2019 CO2 emissions from energy consumption in Poland decreased compared to 2018 by 5.7%. It turns out that Poland's result is better than the EU average, i.e.4.3% decrease.In addition, Polish emission reduction is better compared to its immediate and distant neighbors, because in Germany there was a fall of 4.6%, in the Czech Republic it was 2.2%, while in France and Italy the decrease was 2%. Estonia recorded the highest decrease in emissions from energy consumption, which was 22.1%.In Luxembourg, on the other hand, there was an increase of 7.7%, which is the highest rise in Europe. On the other hand, in Cyprus, carbon dioxide emissions remained at the same level as in 2018.
